Today I am going to share with you some ideas about health tips, nutritious food, beauty and some miscellanies from my bodybuilding friends.

I truly believe that health fitness starts from within, your diets. Everyone knows the long list of healthy foods, we all are aware that carbohydrate, sugar and fried or fatty food are bad but sometimes (or many times) people including myself cannot help spoiling ourselves having such food. Therefore, knowing what’s good or bad is not enough but controlling ourselves for the right diets is even more important.

Apart from nutrition, body workout is also an inevitable element for good health; as I always say “Good health is not for sale, you want it, you earn it.”

There is a quote I love, “Success never run right to anyone, on the other hand, we have to run for success” by Khun Prachya Piyamanotham. Hoping for things to get better on our way without doing anything is a waste of time. Your goals can only be achieved by hard work and efforts and you will not regret letting opportunities go, be positive and never give up since one more trial could lead to success.

I hope this short article could give some thoughts of taking good care of your health, moving towards your goal and do not take life for granted.


Forever Young, Forever You

Keeping youth and beauty forever is what most people hope for and there are many ways, many beliefs to earn it. Some choose medical advances in technology, new healthcare innovations or some choose trials and errors of all the methods that all the side effects are never really disclosed or discussed openly.

While body balance is essential, it seems too difficult to achieve by oneself in today’s lifestyle with hard work, inconsistent eating, reckless diets, late night parties, few hours of sleep and lack of exercise. Looking in your bedroom drawers, washroom counter, office desk and in your lovely purse full of cosmetics and anti-aging products, are they the real solution for your youth and beauty that everyone is willing to pay forever? I don’t think so…

Change is never too late and also is a must to show that you are alive and alert to bring your life and health back to reality. You can do it, you can give yourself a healthy, fit and firm body and maintain youth and beauty as long as you can, starting with some tips below;

  1. Stop smoking
  2. Less alcoholic drinks
  3. Watch out your weight by
    * Go for low fat proteins e.g. fish, chicken, duck meat, beef, egg white, vegetable protein, dried beans, low fat cheese, low fat milk, tofu. Low calorie food and protein stimulate better metabolism. More calcium intake increase fat burning directly in the cell.
    * Control consumption of carbohydrate to fit with your body, consuming good kinds of carbohydrate e.g. whole wheat bread, wholegrain cereals, oatmeal.
  4. Don’t be fooled by bad diets e.g. weight-loss medicine, skipping meals, weight-loss body cream, massage and etc. which I will be talking about them in later article.
  5. Change workout routine and add some variety with more or less challenging kinds of workouts which can improve body balance and metabolism. Spend 40-60 minutes for each workout and weigh yourself once a week.
  6. Sleep on time and not too late helps smoothing hormones and emotions.
  7. Love yourself; find time for yourself, be happy doing what you like i.e. reading, friend meeting, positive thinking etc.

    Hidden trap in healthy food: Fruit juice vs. Fruit

    Basically, having vegetables and fruits is always recommended as it is definitely necessary for your body since they contain minerals, vitamins and fiber together with a lot of sugar. Sugar is the happy food element adding pleasure to all consumers, animal and human. However, too much sugar consumption can be incredibly dangerous to your body causing abnormal metabolism, dysfunctional internal organs which could further result in an incurrent decease.

    More importantly, sugar is considered legal drugs that we can consume addictedly without guilt. Sugar always comes hidden in all kinds of food, drinks as well as fruit juice which is always known to us as healthy drinks. Nevertheless, looking at nutritious facts between fruit juice and fruit below, it seems like another story!

    Therefore, be aware of fruit juice, it’s not always as healthy as it seems. Do not live your life with rush and recklessness for convenience but spend more time to care for yourself and your health.

    Boot Camp Training, What Is It??

    Boot camp is generally an outdoor training to build up your body and mind strengths with the least training tools. This kind of training stimulates well-functioning heart and lungs as well as improves other body parts simultaneously with combination of different exercises for more calorie burning, fun, teamwork and constant strength testing throughout an hour of training.

    The boot camp combines 5 kinds of workouts together starting from Resistance then Power and Plyomerics followed by Speed training and finally Stretching with cool down.

    1. Resistance training

    Pump up strengths, power and endurance for all body muscles

    2. Cardiovascular training

    Increase strengths and endurance of the cardiovascular system and lungs including metabolism system and other crucial body systems, consistently pacing up heartbeat level through the end of the training.

    3. Agility and Speed training

    Improve agility, coordination and speed in daily activities or martial arts training.

    4. Power and Plyometrics

    Develop strengths of major body muscles and some training tools may be utilized to obtain more impact.

    5. Stretching

    Stretching and cool down muscles, may involve some yoga positions.
